The Ponderosa Solar + Battery Storage Project team members — many of whom are based in Nevada — are committed to responsible development, including:

  • Conducting comprehensive environmental studies
  • Ensuring minimal impact on the natural landscape
  • Prioritizing water conservation through low-water project design and operations
  • Implementing a decommissioning and site reclamation plan consistent with Nye County ordinance requirements, including removal of project infrastructure and restoration of the site following project retirement.

We are engaging with community and local neighbors to discuss the benefits of the project, listen to concerns, and collaboratively develop solutions that will address community and county feedback, resulting in a project we can all be proud of. We are committed to transparent and open communication for the long-term to ensure all questions and concerns are addressed in a timely manner throughout development and construction.
